A Vision for Excellence in Early Childhood lays the groundwork for the rest of the sessions in the Leadership Series. Leaders build their understanding of what excellence in early childhood can and should look like in Nevada. They develop their own Vision of Excellent Instruction which will serve as the “north star” that will guide the work of their center, to ensure that student learning is at the center of all they do. Leaders and teachers can deepen their content knowledge in Early Childhood by examining the developmental trajectory of early learners and understanding the implications of development on instructional choices.
