SEL Session 5: Integrating SEL and Academics

The fifth installment of the Nevada ECE SEL Series, SEL Integrated Throughout the Day and Culturally-Responsive Teaching in ECE: Part 2, is designed for leaders to grow their understanding of how to incorporate social-emotional learning across the day, particularly within academic learning, as well as explore how to apply culturally-responsive practices into their center and classrooms. Leaders learn how to identify best practices in SEL instruction, understand the principles of culturally-responsive teaching, and how to bring the principles of SEL and CRT to life across every element of a child’s experience in their centers.
